Last Sunday we started a new series called PROJECT 119!

Psalm 119 is over 170 verses all about the Word! It is one of tne of the most amazing piece of poetry ever penned. A 176 verse acrostic poem using all 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. We don’t know for certain who the author was, but it is certain that they had a passion for God’s word. Maybe this was a way for them to praise God for the Word. Looking at the most intriguing chapter of the Bible we will glean from the writer's desire for the Word.  It is as though the writer is saying, “God’s Word is enough. If you have the Scriptures, that is all you need for life and godliness.”

What if we had a desire for the Word of God like that?

The fact is, our Sunday services are way too big to build real community…honestly, it’s not even our Sunday goal. Plus, it would be wrong to want to keep the overall size of the church small for our own sake. That’s like saying, “I want to be a part of something great but don’t want anyone else to hear about it”. That’s just selfish. So how do we stay faithful to God’s call to reach out and make room for everyone, but still be able to connect in a more relational setting for community.
We starting a new session of groups Mid-September!
