The first thing we will ask of you is simple: relax. You don’t have to dress up. We don’t care who you voted for in the last election. And please, don’t feel the need to pretend about anything. We started HOPE as a safe environment for regular people to explore faith within community. Everyone is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. So come as you are, because that’s where God meets us — as is. From there, we’ll help each other grow to be all God intended us to be.

Hope To See You Sunday 10am at Charles Wright Academy.

Our Values & Our Mission

Our values are shared principles we strive to live out.

LOVE as if life depends on it.

Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it-because it does. Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you. Most of all, try to proclaim his truth.  (1 Corinthians 14:1, MSG)

He answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ ; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” (Luke 10:27 NIV)

LIVE in the fullness of God.

That Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:17–19, MSG)

LEAD as we are.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10 ESV)

Mission is fueled by our values.

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill.” (Matthew 5:14, MSG)

They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. (Acts 2:42, MSG)

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19, 20 NIV)

For us, its all about JESUS.

We want to embody the church JESUS had in mind. Our thought is He never intended church to be a place to go, but as people… not a just service, but a movement of love and HOPE. We think this whole faith thing is at its best when it motivates a love for God and people that is selfless and real… a full life of caring about the things God cares about. We were all created to live for something larger than ourselves and God invites everyone, everywhere into this way of living.

Everyone is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. Do you have more questions about Hope Community Church? Maybe you want to find out how you can volunteer on one of our teams.

Our church is part of the Northwest District of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. The term “Foursquare” stands for the four-fold ministry of Jesus Christ. Jesus as the Savior (Romans 10:9). Jesus as Baptizer with the Holy Spirit (Luke 3:16). Jesus as Healer (1 Peter 2:24). Jesus as Coming King (Acts 1:11). The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel was founded in Los Angeles, California, by Aimee Semple McPherson in 1923. Since that time our denomination has grown from one local fellowship to nearly 2000 churches in the United States and Canada. The Foursquare Church has also been established in over 110 countries around the world. These numbers are rapidly increasing.
